You got this! Write the story you want to write, and more importantly the story God wants you to write. The right readers will get it, but you can't try to write for everyone. 👍🏻

I love horses and cowboys so had to vote western but honestly wish I could have split my vote into three little pieces and given one to each choice :) I'm sure whatever you write is gonna be awesome. Sometimes as writers our brains just need a break from the current project and to step into something new. Look forward to seeing what you write next (currently reading Killstream - I am a slow reader, I know I know, but I think it's pretty cool so far 😎)
Always write for yourself my dude; remember, write for clones of yourself, and if you want to make it marketable, just double-check a bunch of things-mainly do this before writing most of it.

Sometimes backing off for a while, rereading your first book, and going back to the roots of your dreams is a great idea. Rewatching Tron is also awesome. I’ve been listening to the soundtrack practically everyday lol.

My current WIP is actually a fourth draft of the same novel, an idea I've had for a decade now and something I've physically been working on for over five years. So I understand what it's like to scrap a draft and start over, wanting to come back better.
It is scary, it is hard, but trust me when I say you will make it better. Every time I've come back to a new draft, it hasn't been better or worse necessarily, but I do know there's been improvement. So you got this. God bless you on this new draft!

Yes! Have you read Neil Gaiman’s interpretations of the main Norse stories? I love the illustrations in my copy, they are really amazing.
